Kinder+Sport has been active in Spain since 2006, with partners such as the Spanish Federations of Volleyball and Athletics. The most popular program is Peque Voley, for children aged 10 to 12, that has already enrolled over 850 schools. Peque Voley Eventos are held at weekends, often where national teams play, in order to encourage meetings between children and champions.
The Peque Voley Kinder+Sport Campus is a yearly summer camp for children aged 9 to 14, under the tutorship of Federal coaches. In 2015, the Campus also opened to foreign children, directly invited by the Volley Ball Federation. Athletics are also high on the agenda. Jugando al Atletismo - Playing with Athletics - is an induction program for primary school children that allows them to make contact with the world of running, jumping and throwing. The annual Campeonato Nacional Alevines – the Junior National Championship – is reserved to federated athletes aged 12 to 14. Kinder+Sport also encourages water activities, together with the Ecomar Foundation. The Semanas del Mar – Weeks of the Sea – involve around 16,000 children every year.
